Sheri-Lee is based in Goose River. She learned to cross-stitch when she was expecting her son in 1982, as a way to keep off her feet. She loved the rhythm of the stitching and the effects that could be created, simply with thread and fabric. She creates original designs and textures that reflect Island life, humor, and scenery. She accepts commissions to stitch people’s homes - to scale - as heirloom pieces to pass on to future generations.
